Default Boost vs. NA

I know you guys hate these kinds of questions.. But I am debating on whether to go all motor or boost it.

I originally wanted to go all motor when my friend told i can a greddy turbo kit for around 2,600. With the greddy turbo on my car ( 99 si) i will hit low 14s and possibly high 13s.

Well i am thinking will i be able to hit high 13s with this setup?

skunk 2 stage 2s
CTR pistons
Mugen Head Gasket
Omnipower valvetrain
CM lightweight flywheel
CM stage 2 clutch
DC sports JDM 4-1 2.5"
T1R exhaust
Carsound highflow cat
Injen SRI
chipped p28

Would you all recomend new injectors and a fuel pressure regulator?

Or should I go with the greddy turbo and spend 2,500-3,000$? or do that setup and spend about the same amount? Which would be more reliable?

With 200whp, and some weight reduction you can run mid 13s.

honestly, i think you will be DAM clsoe to 13's with that setup.. get some bigger injectors, don;t worry about the fuel regulator now. Get some hondata management instead and tune.

It will be close either way. Boost can be expensive though....

if your not going to do an ls/vtec w/ the 2-3000 budget, and wanna keep your b16a2 engine as a base, then I would Boost it.

Do you guys think the greddy kit running on 8 pounds will be good enough for high 13s?

Also will 2.5" exhaust be good enough for the greddy turbo bolt on?
Is it possiple to run s2s1 cams with boost?

If you are simply looking for more speed you should go with boost. If you plan on doing something like road race/auto-x, think about an h22 or c5 swap with some good boltons and a good tune.

I have an h22 w/ boltons tuned via Uberdata in my 99 ex coupe. I have run 14.0 @ 99.5mph. If I ran slicks or could pull a 2.1 60 foot I would be mid 13s easy.
