Probly gunna be told to do a search
But I will tell ya my exp with this.
Go with a Y8 head over Z6 (Distrib bolts right up to Y8 vs Cutting the bolt holes and modifing the Z6)
As far as how tough this is, really depends on what knowledge you have with taking motors apart. To me it wasn't tough. I started to just swap the head but once I got the head off I just rebuilt the motor with new seals/rings/etc to be safe.
Watch how many miles you have on your motor and how good of shape it is. You are going to put a lot of compression on an old motor and I have seen a lot of ppl slap it on and need new rings shortly after.
Get a VAFC if your sticking with the obd0 setup.
I recommend spending the extra money and just converting to obd1 and a P28 ecu since tuning isn't gunna be that great. (the crx si ecu isnt gunna have the proper fuel/igniton maps for the vtec head) Now it will work but to get the most out of it you will want to convert to obd1.
Overall I loved my minime swap. I wish I would have went obd1 instead since a few other peoples cars did much better with that.

Its a fair easy build , i think you might be able to do one in less than 3-4 hours mabe.
