How the hell would that help you any more in knowing what sensors control the idling?
I'd say the TPS and IAC would be the two to look for.

If it's a lot older, it might even have a carburator. I bet it would help to know what year/model...
He hasn't even told us if the idle is surging or just high & constant. Or maybe it's too LOW? Or whether it's messed up all the time or only when it's cold...
