conflict within h-22 ot f-222 turbo
i know youg uys heard this many many times, i myself would love to have an f-22 turbo, but here's teh story.....
i had an 94 accord f-22a but i totaled the car, i am looking for an 94 or 95 accord again but i have an offer on an H-22 motor for 1500$ and if i get the accord, i want to swap the motor but i kinda want to keep the motor n just boost it, but i also don't want to pass up on teh h-22 motor deal which i know all you guys know that's a rare deal. so please tell me waht you guys think.

Pros of h22:
-Direct swap
-decent power
-dohc vtec
-High aftermarket support
-Can still use f or h series tranny
Pros of f22-t:
-turbo power
-reliability with f22
-great power (220whp ish on low boost 6-8psi)
-good aftermarket support for turbo setups on 5th gens but not 4th
-Long gears in tranny are good for boost
-Cheap engine replacement (f22 replacement costs around 400 bucks versus h22
)
-Low compression
-Some junkyard turbo setups available (from dsm's)
-Don't have to pull engine
Cons of each:
-H22 costs more
-F22 power is limited unless built or swapped with h23 or boost built h22
-NA is more expensive to make great power.
-Both require tuning for maximum efficiency and power.
You just need to do your research and find out which setup is better for you and your budget. Honestly I would go with f22-t
.

Did anyone catch that?
H22 can barely handle 8PSI without some internal work
F22 can be boosted to 10PSI safely if im not mistaken.
I would also go f22-t

WTF language is this?
WTF language is this?
tuned by lorange has an h22 that used to run 10psi daily, not to say its real safe, just saying ive seen some nasty h22 turbo setups on stock block even. but dont get me wrong, i love my f22b2t and plan on building it once it blows. personally id go f22t no contest.
edit, f22 been running 8 and 11psi daily for roughly 3 monthes now, upping to 16psi this week. daily driven.
