Questions for the "BIG" cam guys
Hey,
Here is my setup:
JDM B18c-r
TODA pistons, valve train, spec b cams
Eagle H-beam rods
82.5 mm bore
12.5:1 cr
My question is, I was thinking about stepping up to the spec "c" cams, but I want to know if anyone has had any experience with them. Is there going to be a big difference btw the b's and c's or maybe the s2s3's would be a better idea.
Any idea's????

i'm gonna guess the toda b's will give you a better overall powerband, while the skunk2 stg3 will have less low-end/midrange, but a considerable amount more of top end if tuned properly.
Why spend the amount of $$ when you could buy a cheaper camshaft and make more power?? SOOO many cams out there will pull over a Toda C. The C's have a considerable amount of lift, but the duration is way weak. Do some more research and find some more dyno's, also, where do you want to make your power and where do you want it to peak??

your not gonna see a HUGE change b/t the toda b's and c's. Just powerband differences.

Yes. Stock sleeves. I thought about re-sleeving, but I decided it would be a Type r anymore. I guess my next all motor will be either a B18c1 or B20
