Charcol canister/
Im swapping in a 98 ls motor and there is no place to hook the hoses that come from the charcol canister.... I know i could porbally get a older ls throttle body maybe but i would really like to stick with the one that is ont he motor now..
How bad is removing the charcol canister? Is it wise?

Since you don't live in CA, or if texas does not have strict emissions, I would take it off. I live in FL and have no use for it being there. Since you have a 98 ls motor, i'm assuming the map sensor vacuum thingy is on the t/b, so you can probably tear that out as well.

Well im guessing the red hose from the canister goes to the evap purge on the intake manifold. (not quite sure) but the two vacum hoses comming off the canister still have no place/ anyone have any ideas?
How about some egine bay pics so i can see what others have done. I have searched
