Default Lowering the accord????

Nuff props to this website. Finally I found a good Honda forum. Well I have a 94 accord LX and I need some insight on lowering it a few inches, maybe 2" through out the car (front&rear). I've been looking around for some coilovers and came across a few on Ebay for some fair prices. Are they any good and do u recommend them? And also, must a Camber kit be considered if I wanted to go 2" in the rear and 2.5" in the front or it is not necessary. Thanks in advance and let me kno what else I would need to have my Accord lowered.

Ground Controls are your best bet. Good quality for the price.

Any amount of lowering will change the camber AND toe settings. People always ask if they "need a camber kit"; technically you dont really need one, but if you want your tires to last it would be wise to get camber and toe fixed.

No-name things from ebay generally suck from what ive heard. I would never buy no-name ebay stuff. In my mind, its well worth it to buy from reputable companies that have been in the business for years and years.

^so if I wanted to lower the car 3" in the front and 2.5" in the rear a camber kit would not be necessary as u stated, only if I want my tires to last I should get one?

And will that be all I must get to have my car lowered? Thanks for all the replies.

General rule of thumb is if it's less than 2" of drop, don't worry about it. Anymore than that and you'll be buying new tires every couple months
