which is better pros cons for an NA B16

While the 4-1 vs. 4-2-1 generalizations are basically outdated at this point, the majority of the best performing B-series headers are of the 4-2-1 configuration, FWIW.

from my experience i think the 4-1 is a lot better. When i put my dc sport's type-r header on i felt way better throttle response and it was more torquey. but who know's that's just my .02's

You apparently have never compared it with one of SMSP's 4-2-1 B-series units.
