"Rocky" Anthony Santa Cruz... It's been nearly 3 mos. and no Hondata 2b w/ P28 ecu or my $750!!! He posted up last month that it was gonna be sent out an dto call him to get a tracking #. I tried calling and calling but never get a hold of him until last week. He cut me short and said he was gonna get me a tracking # and he would call me back.. No call.. damn!!! Frustrating... help

This doesn't surprise me one bit. Last time this topic was brought up I gave my opinion of this thief but a bunch of people jumped to his defense stating he doesn't do business this way etc. I guess he really does do business this way after all, although I had no doubt in my mind.

Sure he may HAVE been a decent enough guy, but apparently he is no longer. Personally if he had jacked me for $750 dollars I'd pick up one of those cheapy plane ticket to FL and handle this in person!!!

I can hear everyone rushing to his defense again but in my opinion he's still a worthless, low life piece of THIEF!!! For those that will defend him let me ask you this, would you send him $750 of your hard earned money? I didn't think so.

Here's the deal with him and I, he sent me the turbo but has yet sent the manifold and I told him I don't want it anymore because it is taking way to long and asked him to send me back my money. He has yet to answear to that email and doubt i will get my 450 from him. Anyone in Tampa that can help us??

I emailed Doug @ Hondata and he replied to me saying that "Rocky" owes them also. This is a bunch of crap.. I earned this $750 by spending 100 days in Kuwait serving "Our Country"

 

I'm down here in Tampa. I don't really know Rocky that well, but I do know some people that hang out and do business with him. Some of those people post on this board, some do not. I'll ask around to see if I can help..not because I want to get in his business, but because I know what its like to get screwed out of money.

Charles, I can't believe how stupid you are to put all this up. First, you're posting you know nothing about. Are you his finance manager now? Rocky's parents helped him with the car, yeah, but not the entire thing, what the does that have to do with anything? You also mentioned his roomate, which has again, nothing to do with it. And, on top of that, I've spoken with this person via email about the situation.

Rocky has a stage 2b en route for him, I know this for a fact. And Rocky has contacted me about the P28, to see if I can locate one for him. The situation is working on being resolved, Rocky just hasn't had time to contact him I suppose.

Man Charles, you turn on people like nobody's business, and always jump in where you're not needed and when you have no clue as to what's going on. Charles, I need my exhaust manifold back, by the way, which charles has owed me for 2 months. He has contacted me saying he has recieved it, but has not contacted me since then to arrange to pick it up. Seems like you've had plenty of time to respond to posts that have nothing to do with you, but not enough time to take care of you own busines. Pot calling the kettle black.

 

Long story short, he sold something he did not have, still a ripoff in my books.

 

I have since sent you two emails, both were unreturned. How come you just didnt respond? Why did I have to go to these lengths just to get a response out of you? I went to the track last night with one of my customers, which is why the car was there but I was not. In any case, you have yet to respond to any of my attempts to contact you via email or even HT IM.

The only reason I wrote that in the IM is that you took it too far. Rocky's parents have nothing to do with this. If I was pissed off and posted all the info on your parents, what would you do? You'd be pissed, right? That was extremely stupid of you, and people don't like stupidity. That's all I'm saying, I'm not threatening you by any means. This has nothing to do with me, except that by me standing up for him, I'm vouching for him.

Let me make that absolutely clear: I am vouching for Rocky Santa Cruz. He will come through within 2 weeks or less, or it's on me. And those who know me know that if I put my name on it, it might as well be written in blood. I even put that in a public forum, so everyone can see that.

And if you would like to give me my exhaust manifold, as you said you would, you don't have to be scared of me. I've never been the confrontational type, and I certainly wouldn't attack you. C'mon charles, you outweigh me by around 100lbs, what am I gonna do? You know me better than that.

John: I retracked my post ON YOU VOUCHING for him. If this doesn't go through, and the person expecting his ECU contacts me again for help, I'll make it longer and more detailed. It's a crime, period, and NOBODY should put up with it. Hondata is not backlogged for months, so why hasn't he got his ECU? or at least a decent explanation that HE is satisfied with? It was HIS money.

As far as your manifold. you also read my response. I'll have Chuck (SR20DET) @ TR contact you for deilvery. I've offered, given you my number, and even gone to your shop. It's only been 3 days since I recieved it, and I wanted you to have it ASAP. BTW: Chuck lives by you....somewhere.

i don't believe rocky is trying to rip anyone off, he's a good guy, and a busy one at that, trust me if i thought he was riping anyone off, i would personaly kick his *** and part his car out amoung us, rocky's someone we can trust!

 

I am not judging anyone either way, but 3 months is way too long.

 

If John vouches for Rocky, then consider it done. Let's not let this turn into an even uglier situation. Let things pan out, just give it time. There's a process to everything. Lets all be cool.

As you can see I paid him 1300 on oct 23 2001 via paypal for his gerret 60-1 t4 turbo and a manifold from SFP cause he said he could get one from them. The manifold was going to be jet coated. All I have recived from Rocky is the turbo, now all I want from him is the money back. I believe 850 shipped for the turbo is fine and now I just want the 450 back.

 

John that is a big step to take for Rocky. I think Rocky has had enough time to provide the stuff promised, but at the same time I dont know what Rocky is going through. I sure hope this gets cleared up because I dont like seeing it here on FI, and Im gonna keep it open this time untill its cleared up.

 

He has my # and all he had to do was call and tell me what's up. I don't want to take any legal actions(yet).

While we're on the topic of what he owes everyone. I never received the burner/emulator, clutch switch, shift light, push button, and all associated cables. Nor did I receive the cable that goes from the ECU to the Hondata box or any of the software. You can check out the add I responded to here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=63299 and as you can see that was the end of August. Hmm, my math says that's been almost five months now.

Rocky had the money in his hands the 1st of Septmeber. At this point I've already gotten everything that was missing from the package elsewhere, so I'd be more than happy with a refund for what was missing. This way I could go ahead and send the money off to the person that really deserves it, thanks Doug.

Also, I'd like to offer up an invitation for Rocky to bring his sponsored race car to Texas for one of the events we're having here. I'd LOVE TO MEET HIM. Just make sure to send an email letting me know when you'll be here, I'd hate to miss you.

 

If Rocky is working on my 2b, all the parts better be there.

Again, not trying to get in the middle of it, but we aren't very well know (have done ZERO advertising). Look for some posted pictures of parts, downpipes (all 304), manifolds (cast 304), and turbo kit/intercooler kits in the VERY near future.
