Clutch Price?
Does anyone Know a good place on where to buy clutches, something cheap but also something that wont break down on me in 2 miles.
I have a ZC motor with a LS tranny, so is the clutch going to cost more money to install/buy because of this reason....
If anyone lives close to me ill pay them some money instead of paying 500$ for a shop to do it, car is driveable so i can drive it to your location.
I would like to do it myself, but i dont even have a garage...

clutch(life time warranty) plus install for 400$?

What kind of clutch are they including. And the life time warranty seems odd to me, I don't see how a shop would offer that.

Of course it would, but it would make me think twice about the business. I mean I would read the fine print on that warranty because who know what could exclude the warranty. And if there giving you a stock clutch, then there charging you about $350 for labor.

All I can say is I'm not too happy with the deal I got from a H-T vendor, "pro-street online", even with the H-T 5% discount. My OEM Exedy clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing ended up being $160, and they didnt bother to put an alignment tool in with it.
Grassroots Motorsports just picked up an OEM clutch and bearing kit for $124.88 from http://www.perfectionclutch.com/
I've also heard clucthcityonline comes highly recommended.
Go ahead and pick up a new flywheel if you can. It'll make things easier in the long run.

I picked up an excedy for like 100 or 120 on ebay, and I love it, thats clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing(and the super fancy plastic alignment tool). If you want to save money pickup a haynes and some jack stands and do it yourself. A clutch install isn't that difficult
