thats why you weld behind it. there are much better plastic fillers out there than bondo. The side mouldings look like a pain in the *** to do but with a little patience you could get that RRRRRRRR look.
if your doing holes with bondo, put a big wad on a piece of wax paper and set it over the hole till it dries. Then just peel off the wax paper and sand it down, it holds better for the side molding spots if you put a little bondo on the inside too.

This is what I used:

This is how it came out:

This was the first time I ever attempted bondo/body work. I used the mesh/screen on the back side of the holes. I put the bondo on top on the outside of the holes. Lots of sanding and elbow grease later, they were done. After painting them, I had one low spot in the center emblem hole that I didn't see before. Other than that, it came out pretty good.

I've had good experiences using a ball peen hammer to dent in the holes a little bit then using fiberglass cloth and resin/hardener as a base then using bondo to fill in the "dent" worked like a charm when I shaved my antenna and side moldings

Wow, that's a first for me. If it's metal, weld a peice of metal in the whole then use bondo over that.
