Default A trip to the local UK Honda dealership (REAL CTR's, S2000, VTi)...!!

Well I had to stop by the Honda dealership here in Kidlington today so I snapped a few pics for you guys. What's most impressive is how the CTR's are driven here as normal daily cars, yet so sought after back home I was telling the attendant that in the States kids pay top dollar for the standard parts here and put them on their USDM cars. I think they believe we are nuts lol

A couple CTR's sitting pretty...

16,500 here = $33,000 American...

The shade of red they have here is frickin sexy...

Hands down my favorite Honda color here is the sick gunmetal grey they get on their R's...

They told me this color S2000 is rare even in the UK...

Ran into the UK cousin of my USDM EM1... Differences include: front grill, side view mirrors, interior is blue/grey, rear spoiler isn't as tall, it's called a "VTi"...and it's RHD lol

Sorry, no "Honda" NSX's on the lot

Get ur *** up to Nuneaton there are three NSX sitting there, very sexy.

It gets quite boring driving to work now I see at least 6 CTR everyday!!

Honda dealers rock over here, but not the prices

Yeah even old ladies drive CTR's here. I've only seen two ITR's, both were white

man, cars there are expensive. you could get a new ep civic then swap in a k20r + $5k in stuff before you bought a stock ctr over there.

Exchange rate. 16k here is 16k there. If you use your American money it is 33k.

Any of you two from the US over here going to Japfest??

You'll have many opportunities to see stack loads of rare (in US terms) JDM goodness

Couldn't agree more, and atleast 40% of them are old ladies who always drive 20 mph below the limit

Aren't the UK ctr's watered down a lot from the jdm ones or am I crazy? Oh well, I would still rock one. Not for 33k though. Yikes. . .

How do you actually get one of those here btw? Anybody ever do some research on how much it would cost, taxes etc.

LOL @ power steering sticker. Like they had to put some great "selling point" on it.

I know it's not worth the time, money, and hassle. But thats about it.

If youre looking into importing a ctr to usa, search in germany i think you'll be able to find a ctr well below 20k$ + u get left hand drive unlike the UK cars.
