cai + inner fender liner
my aem cai is insalled and i was wondering if i need a inner fender liner becuase i dont have one on it. Will anything bad happen if i dont have one on?
It will shorten the life of the filter..... Your best bet is to get a new one. The money you pay for the inner fender will definetly make up for all the filters you would be buying. They are actually fairly cheap. I think like $30-40.
I suggest you buy one as soon as possible; the filter element is exposed to anything that hits it. If it rains, you also have a greater chance on taking on water.
And if you go through slush or mud, that's goin right on the filter and will screw you over faster than a scammer on H-T.
My fender liner is busted right now and I really want to replace it...

wow i guess i better get one then
I got a quote from my local honda dealer and they said 40 bucks for the fender but theres no clips and he said that the clips cost 3 bucks each and you need 10 to keep the fender intack. That like 80 bucks w/ tax! holy shiet for a piece of plastic

You tried a junkyard? Check out manchester Honda or Majestic Honda as well. They are usually pretty good with prices. a junkyard will be your cheapest bet though....if nothing else, you can "somehow" get the clips form there while you are looking for the fender cover
