Default Installed my skunk2 cams over the weekend

I am very impressed with these cams. i can definately tell i have a little more mid range and alot more top end than what i had with my ITR cam setup. i kept the vtec x-over at 5300 on my VAFC. i cant wait to see how much more i can get out of them after dyno tuning! i'll be going to a dyno event next weekend (no tuning tho) and i will tell you all how much more power im putting over the ITR cams.

Are those the new Stage 1 cams? How does it pull at peak rpms compared to the ITRs? Does it pull past the ITRs? TIA.

im still breaking them in now. i drove about 200-300 over the weekend. got on the throttle a few times(i couldnt resist!!) im still on stock springs and retainers.I doulbe checked with Skunk to see if that was cool and they said it was as long as i didnt raise the redline to some crazy limit. i will chip my ecu with their program, but will rev to 8400 max! i will have some baseline dynos to post after the weekend. i am very pleased with these cams

are you going to raise your redline to 8400 rpm with stock GSR springs?

I think you would be pushing those GSR valve springs. What makes you think you can do that? I am interested because I would like to raise my redline also with my ITR cam and GSR sprinps.

just wait until you get some ITR intake springs (move GSR intake to exhaust side, they are the same as the ITR exhaust springs). The risk of valve float is not worth it.

Glad to hear a happy skunk2 owner!
