There is an engine for sale, the kid that is selling it wants $800 for:
99 SOHC VTEC D16Y8 engine about 30,000 to 40,000 miles *also comes with a nice header*
EX- Tranny
Axles
EG mounts
EG shift link w/ short shifter
NO ECU

Do you guys think its a reasonable price?

i wouldn't pay that much but that's not a terrible price.

You should be able to find one for around 400-500 IMO

 

i think thats verry reasonable.tranny and a header isnt too bad for that price, what brand header does it come with?

what is the tranny cable or hydro??

800 isnt too bad like thatguy said but I wouldnt pay that much you can find a motor cheaper

MAYBE if it had an ECU, he could almost ask that much. $800 is about B-series status almost...

 

try to jew (pardon me) him down...800 is on the high side....find out what kinda header it is.

 

haggle him dwn, he's pimpin u and he knows it! it's an arite price but you can get him lower.
