sorry but i cant remeber who you were. i think he lived in south ga, we met at the mall in macon...i need to know what year the the h23 i bought from you was

honestly i didnt ask... i was looking at aftermarket bearings and they wanted to know the year of the block.

it is on some blocks and def on the head. but i couldn't remember where it is on the block right now for the life of me, something in me wants to say below the exhaust ports.. but maybe this is only for the b series blocks

It does not matter the year. Make up a year between 92-96. All H23's use the same stuff.
My old H23 block said '92' and 'no. 1' on the front of the block behind the header it was a late 1992 casting for the 1993 model FWIW.

thats what i was under the impression as....only difference was little clearence...aka the color code, which doesnt come into play w/aftermarket bearings
