Hasport obd - obd1 for DX crx. need help?
I chaned my harness from Dx - ZC harness for a D16Z6 engine and added a hasport obd - obd1 harness using a 95 integra LS ECU to power the motor and am having problems getting it started. any ideas? am i doing somthing wrong? has any one done this kinda of conversion befor?
i got some code about atmosphere pressure and somthing about the distributor before i swaped to obd1 ecu. i have the ecu and distributor matching now so thats not an issue. but i keep blowing fuse's. i dont have a jumper harness for the new ecu code reader.
where can i get a harness for the codes? ive heard about it being put in and stuff, but havent seen any sold any were. also could it be that i havent wired up the 4 wire o2 senser yet?

its the little blue plug by the passengers feet, located just behind the glove compartment and to the right. You just need to put a paper clip in there to ground it. Once that is done the Check Engine light will flash your codes.
It's obd0-obd1 right, there should be a wire from the conversion harness that you have to jump with a ground, then just turn the key to acc. on and the cel should blink out your code.
Also why did you change your harness, it would have been easyer to just mod. your Dx harness to mpfi, then use the obd0-obd1 conversion and plug in your p75 thats how I did it. it all was soo easy.. like baking a cake... (I don't bake cakes)

Depending on the conversion harness.
Some do it where you have to put a jumper in the blue connector under the dash.
That is where you would put a jumper to disable the electronic ignition advance on the srock pre-OBD system.
The OBD-1 cars use that blue connector as well.
On OBD-1 it disables the electronic ignition advaance AND allows the codes to blink out on the CEL.

because i wasent planing on changing to obd1 at first. i had droped a ZC in there and never got it finished and then i got a very good deal on a sohc Vtec engine and decided to go that way. the harness dident have any wires for the codes. its just the Hasport harness for obdo - obd1 from ardperformance.com and i figured if i already had a harness converted to the Si/ZC harness i wouldent have problems, that i could just plug and play. maybe theres somthing else wrong.
I'm not sure about those converison harnesses, becuase not all obd-0 cars have the same wiring, so how could the harness apply to all obd-0 harnesses. I'm guessing you have to have your harness setup like the SiR harness, the Si and the SiR are both MPFI but still use different wiring configurations.

on a CRX you would use the plug on the driver inner fender. It has a yellow rubber cover. It close to the washer reservoir cap. My OBD-0 to OBD-1 harness uses this plug to jump for codes.

Ive goten so sick of trying to get this thing going that im going to get a wiring harness for the inside of the car and one for the engine from an 88-91 Si to fix this problem for some reason my car still wont start. im heading back to the junk yard.
