Default Okay to run tapered pads?

I have a set of brake pads which became tapered (Cobalt GT-Sports) only on the passenger side of the car. Just replaced the hub/wheel bearing on that side. I also greased the caliper sliders just in case.
New rotors & pads have bee installed for the street (Autozone parts). No problems since replacement.

I'd really like to stay away from replacing the hub/wheel bearing or brake rotors again prematurely. Is it advisable to just buy a new set of pads for the track?

Any input appreciated.

It'll only get worse. I'd get a dedicated track set anyway (at least the fronts).
