Default noisy walbro pump, is it normal?

just fitted a walbro pump after having the oem one seize up. there is a constant hum from it when running, is that normal?

just unsure of whether i've installed it correctly.

mine doesn't make to much noise i had a bosh one befor that would get mean sounding at 1/4 tank

same here, everyone around here can deff. tell if you have the WAL-PRO. thats how i tell it's time to hit the gas station lol

My experience....: I had a walbro Fuel pump that used to hum like a fridge and it got worse/louder as the tank got lower on fuel.. I found out that i had the WRONG pump 'model' for my car..

i just put the correct model walbro pump and i hear absoluttelly nothing, just like stock..

so.. make sure u r using the correct pump for your car.

255 LPH...... mine is loud and when I get to 1/4 tank and less...I lose power because my fuel pressure drops a few pounds....also I have a 30 amp relay powering it cause it burnt the contacts on my stock plug...should of got a smaller pump if I would've known... I have an 88 hatch so I have to drop the tank to change it..lucky EG/integ owners
