paint code websites ?! ?? $#$@#
i found this car that had a really nice lighter shade of blue, kinda like a captiva blue but alot nicer.
and traked it down to a limited edition vw bettle

the picture doesnt do the paint justis. its really nice
so i know theres a way to find the paint code somehow.. cause i need it to give the painter so he can mix the paint to use on my hatch
the color is called satellite blue

how is that color? you see alot more cars than i do.. i wanted a captiva blue, and this color as well as the beetles blue (which is called malibu blue, but who knows if its even any different from pelican blue) caught my eye and looked like it was lighter than captiva blue in the light, almost had a laguna seca bluish tint at times, but was real mettalic. i think theyll go good with these.

i was in a hurry to get my car to the painter and didnt get enough prep time to totally strip the engine bay, so i was gonna do it black (already black)
but the painter is lagging so im gonna go strip the bay totally bare this time so they can do a full color change

the dealer could tell you the color code over the phone.. or Color-rite could tell you they deal with all factory paints from all makes and models...hope that helps
