Any pics of everything needed for DA brake conversion?
We have a 92 Integra LS. Looking to get the front and rear brake conversion off of it to go on a CRX. Does anyone have pics of everything needed off of the Integra?
i don't have pics, but you need the complete rear suspension (minus struts and lower control arms) if you don't have an si, and you want a sway bar, use the control arms too, but then you would need to replace your shocks to the newer style if you have an 88.
front- don't use the knuckes, geometry will be off. if you get ex knuckles, you can use the rotors and calipers off the teg on the ex knuckles.
you don't have to, but i'd switch over to a bigger master cylinder, too. if you use the teg master cylinder, you have to use the booster also.
some people say to switch the prop valve, some people say it dosen't matter. from what i've heard is some rear drum brake prop valves don't let off all the pressure, causing your brakes to rub in the back.

It's all about getting a correct alignment right after. Just dont use the Integra Upper Control arms (which is a stupid thing to do)

Dang!
I wish that people would just say that using the DA knuckles will result in different front suspension geometry and that in some cases, may lead to problems.

All I had to do was get an alignment and I was set, car drives fine since, as a matter of fact, even better!

El Vap;
I don't question that you had no problems. However what I worded is correct and prudent in order to not be misleading. Others have stated that they did have problems getting an alignment after using them.
Using the DA knuckles will change the suspension geometry! There is the possiblity that it can lead to problems.
This is totally true and I don't think it can be argued. Keep in mind that I'm not stating that everybody will have problems.
Think about this; let's say that you own a company that sells DA knuckles. Wouldn't it be best to make comment on the potential issues that may pop up. Or do you just tell all your EF customers that it'll be fine.
(oh, and are you going to the Griffith Park meet?)

I am going to set this straight once and for all. I am going to the junkyard and buying a front knuckle setup and measuring these *******.
seriously.
BTW: i found 2 DAs and one DC ls tegs and the j/y this week, so if anyone needs rear disc swaps or front knuckles, or enignes for that matter, i can get them. LMK.

real jdm sir's came with the bigger integra front brakes they are the same as da's even use the same caliper

its already been done, the DA is about a 1/2 inch longer than the stock crx/civic, it adds a tiny bit of positive camber, but if your lowered it doesnt matter...and the only thing you can change on an alignment is toe with stock components. Also do not use the integra UCA, thats probably what causes the problems...
so now you can save your money and your time...

Yes i know about the UCA, But im going to do a huge writeup so this question hopeful;y stops coming up so often.
Also im working with OEM modded UCAs with the skunk2 slot ball joint for camber adjustment.
So the added length wont matter, like you say.

The DA knuckles are taller (by a quoted 1/2") and the ball joint is located inward.
It's possible that that a static camber adjustment is still possible as quoted by ElVap.
All that aggred too?
It still changes the geometry of the front suspension due to the fact that the upper control arm is sitting at a greater angle from the horizontal. As a result there is a greater camber change for any amount of wheel movement up and down. This is a dynamic change.
That change would also worsen bumpsteer.
Any time a suspension attachment point is moved, you have changed the suspension geometry!
Is this going to make the car unstable, I doubt it.
