do 17" give better performance than 16"???

Default do 17" give better performance than 16"???

ok wtf i hear every second post that 17" are rice and this meanwhile 90% of the people on here prob have 17"
i wanted 16" because my city is kinda f**cked up and my 91 teg would prob grind the wheelwell hard, tha ni just read in the post below somthing about 16" not giving as good of performance.?

Ok...IMO 17" wheels are not rice they just aren't the best for performance on a honda/acura because of their weight and size. However, they look great with a nice drop.

I have had 15s, 16s and 17s...

The only thing the 17s were good for was super sharp cornering since the sidewall on the tire was very small.

They were horrible for everything else - acceleration, trying to launch, hitting potholes, etc.

Then i bought some 11.6 pound 16s. I noticed a little more sidewall flex, but better overall handling because of their light weight and responsiveness to the road. Acceleration improved tremendously.

A lot of people have 17s because they "look good"......A performance wheel for a Honda should be a lightweight 15" or 16".
