The local junkyards around my house are basically stripped, i need different ones and bigger ones. I've been to harry's u-pull its(pennsburg, allentown, hazelton). Anyone wanna gimme some good places to get some good honda parts? preferably crx parts??? maybe some motors?

 

Bump!! I live in northeastern pa and never seem to find hondas in these junkyards

 

I was at the Halzeton "Harry's U-Pull-It" last Friday, and salvaged a couple of cosmetic parts for my dad's 92 Civic. There were 2 CRX's there. Both were 1st gens though. One was pretty much gone but the other was in fairly good shape from what I could remember. Body seemed good. It was a sparkly green colour too. I can't remember what was taken from the interior. I believe it still had it's seats. Don't quote me on that though. I saw a few civics too. I was looking to go to the Allentown location this weekend to see if anything was there. WOuld I be wasting my time? And how often do they restock their "junk"?

 

they are usually shitty at allentown location on Honda stuff. since allentown and bethlehem people rage on honda parts.

but there is a nice place called BARS they have motors, trannys and many honda/acuras. they are a Honda salvage place and can order new parts for ok prices. have warranty for 30 days on motors or i think it's atleast a start up one. just dont tell them its a swap/hybrid or they'll think your racing it. BARS(B.A.R.S.) located on rt145 coming from allentown going towards blue mountain ski. keep staying on 145 for a while and it'll be on ya right side.

I'm in Wilkes-Barre and I'm looking for some new junkyards in the area also. Me and my boys already got all the honda's around here, but what about some junkyards in the surrounding areas. Any recommendation?

but i don't believe they are a u-pull it, their parts are more expensive then a u-pull it yard

i think Brimms is off 309N toward tamaqua and you take that one road at the gas station you turn left. after going down the biig hill. 2 other pull it yards near Bars. we should have a h-t pull it meet. Sunday? or next Sat, Sunday?

Sounds like a good idea, i can do it next sat. but i'd have to be early (i work at 4), go to a yard i haven't been to like brimms
