Well yes very odd. Engines been in for almost a year.

Lately it's been throwing a CEL light, but when i jump the appropiate wire with a paper clip (tried a copper wire too) the CEL light just comes on for a sec, the usual, and goes off never to be seen again.

Turn engine on, and boom CEL pops right on. Its like a ghost code.

 

Car runs fine btw, no lack in performance i can tell off.

 

if it just comes and goes ,there might be faulty wiring in the cluster its self.if there is no auctual problem i would just take the bulb out of the cluster and be done wih it.

 

It does'nt come and go, it use to actually...every now and then come on, but restarting the car dealt with it fine. But it is constant now. Always on.

Yes sir. No codes. 0 codes.

 

it has to be a short somewere then,just take out the light and let it be.if you start to notice any problems put it back in incas eit throws a code randomly.i would tworry about it too much.
