Default Smaller headgasket than bore size ????

What are the effects, besides higher compresion, using a head gasket that is slightly smaller than the bore size will have on a motor?

If you are looking for more compression, look into a thinner HG, not a smaller HG bore. Good luck.

No I am not looking for more compresion. It was just curious that is all. Nothing that I was planning on trying.
