Default LS Motor Swap..I searched

Hey guys,I did do a search and really didn't see what I was looking for..I searched on some other search engines as well.

I will make it quick..thinking about putting an LS motor in my 93 Civic EX Coupe and parting with the single cam. What I want to know is I found this complete swap at hmotorsonline. Click on the link: http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...30007

What else do I need? Shift Linkage? Where can I get that and about how much would that cost me. Trying to get a total of everything I need a price so I can start trying to figure something out.

The other thing is will the LS motor drop right into my 93 Coupe without any modifications? Thanks alot in advance.Matt.

i believe that the package listed comes with the shift linkage. i think that you might need motor mounts to get it in your car, but i'm not 100% sure.

it should pretty much just bolt up... To keep your a/c you have to get a 94-95 del sol vtec a/c bracket, and Ive heard the 97 crv brackets work as well, Im not sure what other years. Youll want to do a complete tune up on this new engine as well, Your catalyct(sp?) wont bolt up, so youll have to go to a muffler shop and get them to fix that, which Ive hear dis around 20 bucks or so. And Im pretty sure thatll do it.

yep, and get the linkage from the 94+teg, also i think you will need the coolant lines that go to and from the rad from a b series.

yes the motor will drop right in, and yes you do need a b-series shift linkage, and i would recommend the GSR shifter (it's niiiice)

you need a header from a b-series civic/delsol

ls is too short, gsr is REALLY too short. you just need the b-series civic/delsol header.

no muffler shop
