exhaust popping and clutch question

Default exhaust popping and clutch question

my idle jumps from 1-2 sometimes and I was wondering if I push the clutch in during this time will it burn the clutch?

also when I let off throttle somtimes my exhaust pops sometimes its one big POP sometimes it's poppop..pop. what's up with that?

the popping is normal, everyones car does that.

you shure man I only had my exhaust for like 2 months and its all burnt up and **** lol

Laugh Out loud indeed. You expect the exhaust gases to be clean and cold? I've had my exhaust for 1/2 a month and it does the same thing, it does it when the car is in gear and decelerating.

nah i know that but the inside of my silencer is straight up burnt, like its burnt as in its a different shape now like mushy shaped instead of cylinder shaped get it lol

i guess if youre in gear and you ever so slowly release your clutch itll burn it a little..... and what the **** is your silencer made out of? cheese?

no i mean if I push my clutch in while my idle jumps from 1-2k rpm, with gear in neutral

and **** man iono its OBX from golden auto in DC btw dont ever go there!

True DAT. except for me its just sraight up soot... it accumulates all over the back end of my car and its nasty! lol guess a new motor won't hurt .... soon.
