Default Air Intake 94 Accord -HELP

I just was about to install my new air intake in my 94 Accord EX, but the problem is that there are too many connections to the factory intake. There's the two vacuum hoses, and something (?) connected to the bottom of the tube. The new intake has ONE connection (i'm guessing for the hose leading to the valve cover). What do I do?

I would tell you to use a search but i didnt when i installed mine so here you go

OK the electronic looking connection on the bottom of the factory intake disconnect it and all the vacume line associated with that. This will leave you with the connector still attached to your car leave it unconnected and fold it back up somewhere or just let it hang.

On the passenger side by the headlight there was vacume hose remove the hose and youll want to cap this off

Then on the firewall there were 4 vacume lines that came together remove the top right hose but dont cap it off leave it open. and if you want you can make a filter for it outta like a small fuel filter or one of those 9mm valve cover breathers or you can be lazy and just leave it wide open.

Im developing some pictures today ill take some of my intake so you have visual reference. Shoud have them online in like 2 days cuz i dont have a scanner they have to be sent to me.

Which hose is the one that you don't cap and can put on the 9mm filter on? And so basically there is only 1 hose that was capped, which is the one that is on the passenger side by the headlights (doesn't that hose, if you follow it run up all the way to like almost the very top center of the engine bay, and can you cap it from there?.)

lemme see if i can upload the pics on geocities or something they would help alot... yes one end is capped in front passenger side by the headlight i never traced the line so i dont know. how far up you could go to cap it. the hose that you dont cap (because when i did i had powerloss and a funky low idle goin) anyway its on the firwall on top in the middle by your intake manifold there are 4 lines that come together up there well actually its two but they are seperated and running like ===| |==== so it looks like 4 lines anyhow the top left hand port is the one you wanna not cap and leave open or put a breather on the breather will not fit directly onto the port youll have to rig it with some of the stock hose is what i did. i would also put the breather on your valve cover and cap where the hose would normally run to your intake ( because on accord the port on the valve cover stands straight up you cant put a breather directly on it you have to use some hose so clamp the hose) hope that helps
