Default JL Audio W-0 or Kicker Comp VR

Hi I'm pretty much new to car audio in general and I have 150$ to spend on a subwoofer. I have a 12" box and want a 12" sub. I have a JL Audio W-0 and it sounds fairly good for what it is but I am curious if a 12" Kicker Comp VR would hit harder? I was also looking at a 12" Dual 2 ohm voice coil power akoustic with a peak watt of 1800 and 700 rms. BTW: 760 Watt Pioneer Amp.

All help is appreciated. thanks

Ok, a few things...

What size box do you currently have? (How many cubic feet)

What model number Pioneer amp do you have?

And never, ever, buy Power Akoustic... it's pretty bad.

I'm going to be honest my brother gave me the box, it is a cheapie from wal-mart made for a 12". It isn't that big... The amp is a Pioneer GM-5000T 760 Watt 2 Channel Car Audio Amplifier. And I decided to either get the JL W-0 or a 15" Kicker Comp (maybe VR depending on how my amp will do with it).

Ok... here's the deal. Install is always far more important then the product. You can use that box, it's alright, but I would brace it, and seal all the edges. Then you need to know at least roughly how big the internal space is of the box, and get a sub that would preform best in that size box. If its small, I wouldn't use either a W0 or Comp, as both preform better in larger boxes (if I remember correctly). Find out the size of the box, and I can help some more.
