Acura Integra All Integra Except ITR

HID wiring harness...is this correct ?

Default HID wiring harness...is this correct ?

I've searched for diagrams for single xenon projector wiring harness, but I could only find bi xenon projector harness diagrams...Is this diagram correct for single xenon projector HID wiring harness ?

You need to put a diode between the + from the headlight source to pin 85 like so:

ohhhhhh so the diode goes right in front of where you connect the male side of the stock wiring harness ? And what is the purpose of the diode ?

Maybe but I would try a local electronics store like HSC Electronics if you have one around or a car audio shop. http://www.halted.com/ &lt;--- HSC's website.

Diodes can be used to do many different things. Just make sure that you solder it in the right way or it won't work. Here is a little info on diodes if your new to electronics. http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/components/diode.htm

The purpose of the diode is to prevent damage to the headlight switch. When any coil is de-energized current travels backwards from where it came and when it meets the headlight switch it will arc across the now open contacts. Eventually this will damage the switch.

Diode only allows current travel in 1 direction... like a check valve. Prevents the current from travelling back up to the switch but allows it to energize the coil.
