Default eibach sportlines w/ tokico whites on a 6th gen coupe... Thumping?

installed some used eibach sportlines with new tokico whites on my friends 6th gen accord. when he hits a bump, the car makes a "THumP!" sound. is this caused by not cutting the stock bump stop?
we made sure all bolts and nuts were tighten and back in its normal place.

is it a progress spring?

because my h&R race was pretty noise even with the bumpstop cutted in half.

well, there's one way to tell, tie a piece of ziptie on the piston shaft of the damper and see where the thing would be after the trip

I used have eibach and it came with the instructment to for trimming the bump stop

both prokit and sportline springs are progressive rate springs.

Ok first of all... why did you not cut the stock bumpstops?

my H&R race is super noise even with trimmed bumpstop and aftermarket damper.
Eibach's stuff is way better than H&R imho, but the vdubs dudes are swore by H&R
