Default Evap System Leak ECU CODE P1456

Shortly after buying my 98 Civic it threw a check engine light. So I reset the ECU by pulling the negative terminal from my battery. A week later on my way to school it came on again. So then I made a trip to Auto Zone and picked up a code puller for 80 bux and asked if I could bring it back if it "didn't work" and they were like sure just keep the receipt. It came up as code P1456 which is "Evap system leak detected in fuel tank". So I deleted the code started my car back up and the check engine light stayed off for another week or so. Yesterday when I took my civic in to change my main input shaft bearing I asked the mechanic about the code it was throwing. He told me that when there is a pressure change in the fuel tank while driving down the road it will throw that code. The reason for a pressure change?? A faulty gas cap gasket. A simple 15 dollar solution. So when I get my car back from the shop I'm getting a new gas cap. Just thought I would let you guys know if you are throwing this code.
