Default NOOB question. Brake fluid and power steering fluid the same????

Just noticed my power steering fluid is on the lower level. At the moment, the only thing I have handy is Valvoline Syn Power brake fluid. Could I use that for the power steering fluid or should I just go out and buy regular power steering fluid? Thanks in advance.

edit: Oops, no. I thought you were talking about brake and clutch fluid. These 2 are the same.

Absolutely don't mix the two. Typically brake components use 'EPR' seals and o-rings, where as power steering system components use 'BUNA' seals and o-rings. Putting the wrong fluid in either system will surely destroy the seals and o-rings.
