Default ECU help B16a2

I just recently bought a b16a2, and it came with a OBD-1 ECU, but i could have got an OBD-2 upgrade.

What's the difference? And if i get the upgrade will it increase my horsepower any?

I have a 93' Civic LX

Wrong forum but I'll help you out.

You have a 93 civic LX which is OBD1 so you got the correct ecu for the b16. Now OBD means "On Board Diagnostics"

OBD0 pre-92 cars
OBD1 92-95 cars
OBD2 96+ cars

There really is no benefit from converting to OBD2 and not alot of power to gain. The OB2 guys who are making alot of power usually convert to OBD1 since most ems systems run on OBD1.
