Default FS: LS/Vtec Block

I have a b18a that's already tapped, has gsr oil pump, oil sump, water pump, new head gasket and all that. Nothing wrong with it. I was planning on doing the ls/vtec but decided to just go with a built turbo/ls. So I'm selling this. All you'll need is the oil lines, vtec head studs and a Vtec head. I want $500 (doesn't include shipping). It's the whole shortblock (block/ls head/internals).

it's just a stock ls. If you're just doing the ls/vtec you should be fine on stock internals. It's when you get into the forced induction that you need to worry about it.

Nope.. high revs w/ stock LS rodbolts and stock LS bearings wont last.

over 7k will over stress a stock ls/b20 vtec. Without those oil squirters.. things tend to get really hot.. then the problems start. seen it many times =p purple rods and bearings make lovely scrap metal.

Then we have the rare ls/vtecs that get beaten on and last forever. It's usually luck with those.

g/l, bump.
