Default 16" wheels and Falken azeni. Issues?

I just got my new 16" wheels, and I've been looking into the Falken azenis.
For one...a BITCH to get a hold of in europe.

Second... 205/55/R16. That's gonna rub for sure. And what about my speedo? How mucg will that be affected with such high profile tires?
I'm also a bit concerned with wall rolling. I upgraded to 16" to get rid of the rolling on my Toyo's and my Kumho's... 55 is high for a 16" tire... what would happen?

Any alternatives?
I'm also looking into the Yoko prada spec2 in 205/40R16.
They seem like nice tires...only a bit expensive. Worth the extra money over the azenis?

What else is out there worth looking into?

It's my DD, but I also want the grip, more grip, and all the grip I can get when I let her rip.

why not run a 205-45 or 50 - r 16

if i remember correctly the 45 would be the correct size to run with a 16" tire.

Why do you want / need to run a 55?

Why did you get 205/55's with 16in wheels? Free?

That's gonna look goofy as hell, if they even fit. Get the Yokohamas

I went with the 215/45ZR-16 Azenis and it worked out great. Down side is that they are about 20 bucks more a tire than the 205/55R-16's, but the overall diameter of the tire is closer to what the stock tires were.

Yeah I'm worried abou the overall diameter too...
But I can't find 215/45 anywhere.

the reason its hard for him to find them is because he's not in the states. Holland i believe. Just forget the 16s and stay with 15's~ lol
but if ur gonna do it then yes , i would go with 205/45's not bigger or for sure ur speed will be off.

I've been waiting on these 16s for months and months...

And like I said... don't want 15's anymore.
also 15's won't fit my new brake setup... :D

Good choice sir.

You should get better acceleration out of a 40 series vs. 45's
Marginal, but better

Azenis side walls don't roll believe me. That is why they are so heavy because they have so much reinforcement in the sidewalls.

Ok...who said the azeinis RT215 were available in 205/45/R16?

WHERE???
Tirerack, discounttire and vilcantires don't have them listed....and I'm not that experienced with shopping for tires online.

yeh azenis are stiff as can be. on SSR comps, K1 T1 Racers with azenis tires weigh more then rims lol.
