Power getter is quiet as an angel. Or buddy club 3.

Get a jp performance midpipe or some other midpipe that has a resonator and mate it to your stock muffler. Its alot cheaper and the gains will be the same. It will also be quiet and you get that sleeper stock look

just go straight pipe w/ your stock exhaust. 2.25-5 sounds good

I have heard high flow b pipes on the stock muffler including a ep and I think it sounds like ***. If you are not looking to spend too much, get a hks hi power, if you have money get a Fujitsubo Rmo1a

i had a mid pipe from muffler tech that was nice and quiet and deep sounding then bought a Greddy SP2 which was as quiet as stock maybe a hair louder but still real quiet and loved it, plus it looks great with the single tip that is not huge....

I have a 2.25 with stock muffler. Its raspy until my car is warmed up. Otherwise I would go with almost any greddy.

Greddy SP2 or Apexi world sport, though the SP2 is full stainless steel now, so

Not to jack the thread but i seeing as i have an A3 also and im in the market of getting a quiet exhaust i need to ask somethin. So far have a injen cai and a dc shorty header. In terms of exhaust, like the original thread starter said i want something quiet. It seems like the Greddy SP2 and the Power Getter are the way to go. Ive heard nothing but steller reviews and opinions on both

How about the diameter though? Do those two exhausts give you the option of a 2.25 or 2.5 diameter? If they dont offer a choice then i know that 2.5 is it. Considering im gonna have the simple I/H/E setup and then in time the reflash just wanted to know which diameter is best.

Huh? I think a 2.25" mid with no resonator + oem EP3 muffler is about the best sounding exhaust I have heard for that car. Throaty upon acceleration, no drone on the highway, etc. Keeps you away from cops and thieves too.

Plus, much cheaper to boot. Spend $500 on a different exhaust if you want...but it isn't going to sound any better IMO and it definitely isn't goign to make anymore power than the oem muffler + 2.25" resonatorless B-pipe.

I personally have the Apex'i World Sport 2. its the best value for the money. its fully stainless, great tone, and looks insanely awsome.

FYI, for reference, the SP2 hangs low on the EP3.

power getter, ok. BC spec 3 uh uh.

currently using HKS. good to go, as long as you will not be using a progress rear sway kit. clearance issues.

will be going type S mid with BC 3 rear section. it'll be a little loud.

HKS way too raspy/ loud for my liking, and yes the SP2 hangs a little low, thus i recommend the World Sport mostlikely for the EP3, and who cares if its not all stainless, who carries a creeper around to check the shine under your car anyways eh? haha

Default mugen twin loop

i've been looking for the same type of exhaust and this is what i've learned. "it's either loud and you'll get good gains, or it's quiet and restrictive." the powergetter sounds hott, but from what i hear has sooo much silencing material in it, it becomes restrictive.

i'm looking at the twin loop set up from mugen for my RSX-S. they use a different design to dampen the noise levels, without becoming OVERLY restrictive. i'm also told RSR, and buddy club are good as well. good luck.

buddyclub is in all honesty, well, loud, so I wouldnt recommend it if you are trying to keep a low profile. Dont think cops would enjoy that one around my neighborhood haha
