DA6 Facelift (B16A2) 4-wire O2 sensor woes
When I'm in 4th gear, and going up a hill and I start to accelerate a little, I'll throw an O2 code.
At the top of third gear I'll throw an O2 code.
In 5th gear on the flat, accelerating gently (to over take whatever) I'll throw an O2 code.
I tried a mates '97 ITR O2 sensor (same sensor, 4-wire) and it seemed to work fine.
I picked up a second hand O2 sensor off a mate, and wired it up, it's still throwing codes.
I have wired in a air/fuel ratio meter (Jaycar/homemade speshul) and I've tried it with & without that thing.
If when I try the ITR sensor again, it throws codes still, does any one have any ideas what could be causing the code throwing?
I've checked (and will check again now) the wiring for the A/F meter to make sure that's all good. I might even re-crimp it just to make sure.
I've just been reccommended to check my plugs, so will do that on a cold engine (and report findings)
Anyone able to share their experiences?
