Default B20 swap

I already searched, but i foudn nothing on what i was needing. I want to swap a B20 into my DC, but i dont know what i would need (besides the motor). If anyone could help me on a parts list, i would be greatly appreciative, and on a side note- would LS aftermarket parts fit on a B20?

B-series motor, in a car that comes with a b-series. Only thing you might have to change is your wiring harness or injector plugs from OBD2 - OBD1, that is one of the easiest swaps in the world yo. Not only that a b20 is basically an overbored LS engine, which came in Teg's so you are looking at a direct swap.

I would recommend reading more bro

That picture is from Maddox.mission.com, and, i used caps lock purposely. If you arent going to help me, then why bother posting, I dont need your disapproval of my comments, maybe if people would read every now and then I wouldnt have to say anything.

wow there is no need to be this way man. You've been rude right from the start.

I know you searched Honda-Tech, we can all see that, when someone says "read more" it may also means earch the internet for the hundreds of "Swapping a B-series engine into a B-series car for (complete) morons" sites that there are.

You definitely should be less rude. KalD's comments were (while brief) insightful and correct.

Your comments were snotty and completely unneccessary. I suspect spoiled 16 year old behind your computer...

Do a google search for more info on swaps. You need to convert your injectors, ecu and dizzy to whatever OBD version the car is (unless you decide to convert the car, by pulling the dash and installing a new chassis harness, but that is incredibly time consuming, trust me)

after that, you need LS mounts. not all of them, but the two-pronged mount on the timing belt side of the B20 engine is different, although it looks quite similar, to the LS one.

---> Figured I'd be a hypocrit if I posted in a technical forum solely about your behavior and attitude.

Whose to say what is or isn't necessary? I think making a nasty comment to him for tellin gme to **** off is very necessary. What is reasonable to one may not be reaosnable to another, and for you to assume that im a spoiled 16 year old, and that only teenagers can be bratty only shows your ignorance. If I wanted someone to tell me to search around, I would have posted "Hey, I'm going to ask you a question and I want you to tell me to search". I already said that I had searched, and thats why I posted, so your comments aren't necessary.

whether provoked or not, YOU still choose to respond how you do, keep it up and you will keep receiving the same back. simple as that.

Wait a minute. If it was easier to search then why didn't you do it in the first place?

You need to swap your LS intake manifold, and LS cams into the B20 head. The B20 cams are more low end oriented.. you'll want your power to come more top end, unless you plan on pulling stumps with your teg

You also need to convert your dist, and injectors to your appropriate version (since you didnt state what year your car is). And I also believe i've read something about needing the mounts off your old engine, but i would need to look that up again.

you will need an intake mani gasket. that is the only thing I needed besides all the right tools. the B20 bolts in using all stock LS mounts, intake manifold, fuel injectors harness. The ls distributor did not fit on the obd-1 car we swapped it to. for that we used the cr-v dist we just changed the plug g/l
