Default HEADER HELP

ok so i have a 1997 accord lx, 2.2l, anwayz i ordered DC sport ceramic header from Prostreet online (Part #: HHC5012), but when i got and attempted to install it i ran into a problem, at the end of header down pipe that i bought was a two bolt flange, and on my accord there is a three bolt flange, i checked the part number on Prostreet and everything matched up, so i ordered the right part and they sent me the right part but it doesn't fit and match up. One of my friends suggested that half way throught the year of 97 they changed the way they made the exuast system, well then i'm screwed casue there is no part avaialbe for my car, any help please, experience with this in the past or what

some odd ball LX/DX/SE accords had the 3 bolt flange collector.

since your upgrading the header might as well get a 2 bolt flange high flow cat. your local muffler shop should be able to weld a 2 bolt flange on to a high flow cat/collector.

Default Re: HEADER HELP (KIRST21)

Like suggested any competent exhaust shop can make a flange to make your header work/fit...IMO the hardest thing about doing a header is the damn o2 sensor.
