I got a greddy evo2 catback for a del sol 96, the flange going to the manifold has 3 bolts, i looked all over the net for headers with corresponding collector flange but nothing is turning up, whats the best way to get around this? it seems i have no choice but to modify either end.

yea, your probably just going to have to go to a muffler shop and let them correct the problem.

The 3-bolt flange is supposed to connect to your cat, which then has a 2-bolt flared flange that connects to the header collector. The exhaust is not supposed to bolt directly to the header.

the three bolt flange is on the cat, not the exhaust, i was just wondering why greddy is selling cat pipes with three bolt flage while there are no 3 bolt header collector in the market for the application, not even from greddy!

sorted, i took it to an exhaust shop where i told them to cut off the greddy 2.25" 3-bolt cat end flange and connect it to a custom made 2.5" header, 4-1 (4 1.5" into 1 2.5").
