Tracking down possible elec prob: need more thoughts on checklist included...
I am having trouble with my car starting. The car has been down for awhile and i have just started getting it runnin so i can get some certain things worked out on it. It wsa hit last sept twice in a week and only got $500 from insurance that i had to use to buy another car so i could still work, but now the time has come to get this thing fixed up again so i ca figure something out to do with it.
The car wont turn the starter over. Here are things i checked:
Power connectiosn to battery
Starter signal wire
Fuse in underhood fusebox
Things i am going out to check when i go back out.
Clutch engagement switch
Test battery
Check whole battery cable form back of car to front
I will be back in periodically because its cold as FAWK ou there, so i will be checking and bumping. I also need some more thing to check related to this prob. There is a click from the main relay area that clicks even when i take the main relay is out, so this may lead me to the ?ignition switch?... idk just need more views to check things i may of forgot.
I help alot of your ******* on here, help an og out...

put car in neutral.....pop hood. pull the ignition wire from yer starter....the small wire. run a jumper wire from +side of batt. to the starter. that will test the starter and the battery...see if it will turn over.
