Help, need to add cd player in my 98 civic

i want to add a cd player but i dont know how to remove the center dash where the radio is. are there clips holding it or what. i dont want to pull on it and than break it. PLEASE HELP ME.

i want to know how to take off the radio bezel. can i just pull it off or are there screws holding it on. i dont want to pull hard and then break it or crack it.

You don't need to take off the whole bezel. You need to follow the insructions and then you'll be able to remove the 2 8mm screws holding the radio in.

However, if you're hell bent on removing the whole panel, there's a screw behind the hazard switch and a couple on the bottom, once you remove the center panel with the cig lighter in it. Then, there are clips holding it in.
