Integra cams in ZC motor?
This may sound stupid but I'd like to know if this would work first... I know how similar the 89 1.6L Integra motor is to the ZC and I was wondering if the Gude cams for the 89 teg would fit and work in a ZC motor...? If not then are there any retailers of ZC cams that don't have a very long turnaround time? The ones I've seen so far were all regrinds and would require me to send the OEM cams in to get worked on... Thus, the car will be down till they're done...
I hope that makes sense... It did to me when I typed it haha.
Thanks

why not buy some cams from someone who's got a dead ZC? I had some for mine when I had a a 91 Si w/ a ZC, but I gave the cams to the guy that I sold the car to
. I never sent them off for regrind though. Exospeed does regrinds that I've seen good reviews for.

Go to http://www.dh-racing.com They make a ZC to LS head. They take a ZC head and put all B18 LS internals into it. SO you will be able to use any non-vtec B-series Cams. And any b-series valve springs and interanals. They sell them for $650. Little pricey and could do a LS swap for that much.

huh? how are they going to get a B-series camshaft in a D-series head? the B-series cams are about 2 inches longer than a ZC head - they just put in LS valves, springs and rockers - larger valves on a DOHC ZC not a good idea anyway
