I agree.. The best way to make your new civic look good is to keep it stock.. If you want to make a civic faster its much eaiser and cheaper to get an older one and go from there..

What they're saying is that the standard intake and muffler mods most people do really isn't going to increase your horsepower enough to worry about. If you're set on doing, just go with name brand stuff. Find the ones that look best to your taste, because that's really what those mods are about.

I use ebay for most anything, I saw one decklid lip, but it was for a sedan. Also, look through magzines for the newest parts, then try to find them on ebay before ordering.

If you want to enhance the factory styling of the RSX, I'd go with the FP (Factory Performance) parts.

OOoohh, being elitist is cool!

No matter what their taste or knowledge, having more people interested in automotive performance / modification is a good thing. It makes it more popular > meaning more products are made > meaning more advancements are made in the field. Don't follow? Think about. There are good sides and bad sides to increased interest - but there is more good than bad.

Even if someone becomes just another ricer, it'll eventually mean that your exclusive and "cool to you" items become that much more available and better.

I didn't find any on ebay in a quick search. Like I said, check ebay and look in magazines.

Honestly you aren't going to find a lot of stuff for the '05 Civic yet, aftermarket parts companies need time to develop parts.

If you're looking to modify a lot, the '96-2000 (EK) Civics have the largest number of parts available, probably more than any other single generation of car ever.
