Ok here is my delema,

I have a 2000 auto civic ex with the d16y8 engine in it.

I bought a 1997 jdm integra front clip So I have everthing.

I also have a new 2000 civic si harness..

I also have a 2000 civic si ecu

Now my question is... which ecu do i use? the jdm 1997 or the 2000si. I was reading on a website that I found on here that my car is ODB2B and the 1997 clip is ODB2A
So should I sell both ecu's and get a 1999 jdm / usdm ecu...

And does anybody have pics of this motor in a 2000ex, anybody know which wires that need to be extended. using the si harness

 

the si harness should plug in fine to the gsr motor. the only wire you need to add is for the IAB's.

you should get an obd2b->obd2a jumper harness and use the jdm ecu. your si ecu won't control the IAB's.

you'll also need an assortment of mounts from a 99-00 si to bolt in the motor. some of the teg mounts will work, some wont.

Yes that is right you use the SIR-G ECU... if you are going to use the stock dual stage Manifold and check out hybrid honda web site I have the same setup
