I've searched and I got answers that really don't apply to me.
I basically want to rebuild the block, the engine runs and all, but I just want to build it for boost.
I want the cheapest but also reliable way.
I heard crower was good for the price?
Is that a good assumption?
thanks all

Are you talking about Crower rods? If so, yes, Crower is both functional and trustworthy as a company.
If you're building for "budget boost" you'll probably want to go with a block guard rather than full sleeves simply because of the costs involved, but if that is still too much for your wallet, you can just hope that she holds on 10 pounds with Crower rods and - on my suggestion - Suzuki Vitara pistons. She should.

any place where I can read up on this?
The reason why I want a budget boost is because I don't want to dump too much money in a car only worth 2k
thanks
I know about the ls rods, what pistons should I get
do i need the sleeves rehoned? and what about the stock head valvetrain
