Hey guys i will most probably be buying a full car (ek vti-r 1999 model) which is a statutory write off (interior destroyed) with plans to drop the b16a in my eg (1991-92model dual carbs) Now the only thing holding me back from buying the ek is:

1. Will the conversion from carb to EFI work fine with the ek parts? or will i have to buy parts from an eg gli/vti/sir?

2. Will the brakes fit on the front and rears?

3. I got told that an ek wiring harness will not work with an eg? (confused me!)

Anything else that would or could trouble me in the process?

also the guy told me he will throw an SiR cluster in the package for free.

all your answers will most likely be answered there. The brakes will fit, and you'll need obd conversion aswell. I ain't no expert but look around i.e. use the seach button, it's your friend!

 

if you go all out and swap harnesses. You should have no real or big problems other than getting the right mounts, and possibly axel lengths.
