Default h22

I RECENTLY DID A h22 SWAP INTO A 94 ACCORD. tHE V-TECK IS NOT HOOK UP. IM STILL USING THE STOCK ECU. THE ENGINGE HAS ABOUT 300 MILE THAT PUT ON. EVERYTHING WAS FINE UNTIL 3 DAY AGO. THE OIL LIGHT STARTED FLICKERING AT FIRST. THEN AFTER A MOMENT IT STARTED FLACHING IN A PRFECT SEQUENCE BY SECONDS FOR A GOOD 25 SECONDS. THE OIL PRESSURE WAS CHECKED AND IT WAS FINE. IT CANT BE THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH BECAUSE IT IS NEW FROM MY OLD ENGINE. THIS MIGHT SOUND RETARDED BUT DOES A LOUD SYSTEM BE THE CAUSE. WHEN I HAD MY OTHER ENGINE I WAS BLASTING THE MUSIC (LIL JHON) AND THE OIL LIGHT FLICKERED. I WAS PLAYING THE SAME SONG WHEN THE LIGHT STARTED FLICKERING WITH THIS ENGINE. HAS ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE.

Did you install this engine by yourself? Maybe you should let someone take care of this mess. A H22 is not the same without "V-TECK"

THE CAR RUNS GREAT. THE BODY REALLY FEELS REALLY LIGHT . iT RUNS LIKE A INTEGRA TYPE R. THE CAR RUNS STRONG. ONE OF MY FREINDS A MECKANIC DID THE SWAP HE SAYS THE ECU SHOULD BE OK BECAUSE THEY ARE BOTH 2.2 L . THE ENGINE DID NOT COME WITH A ECU SO HE DID THE SWAP AND JUST HOOKED UP THE ACCORD ECU SINCE TWO OF THE ECU HE HAD DID NOT WORK. bY THE TIME MY ECU CAME HE LEFT ON VACATION FOR A MONTH. HE SAID NOT TO PUSH THE CAR.

ABOUT THE OIL LIGHT HE HAS NO CLUE. HIS BROTHER HAS A GSR THAT HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. THE OIL LIGHT HAS A MINED OF ITS OWN. ONCE EVERY SIX MONTH IT ACTS UP AND THEN GOES AWAY.

Yeah that might be true, but one is SOHC and the other is a DOHC. And to my knowledge the 94 accord does not come equipped with "VTECKKK", so even if it's hooked up correctly you wouldn't fully enjoy the H22.

The car might run "strong," but not nearly as strong as if the "VTKCKC" would acctually work.

FORGOT TO MENTION THE ENGINE HAD ABOUT 15 MILES WHEN I GOT . THE ENGINE IS VERY CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT. PLEASE DONT ASK LONG STORY. TO BREAK THE ENGINE IN WE USED CHEAPEST OIL AND OIL THEY SELL IN AUTO ZONE. THE CAR HAS BEEN RUNNING WITH THIS OIL FOR ABOUT 300 MILES. 1500 MILE I WILL REPLACE THE OIL WITH CASTRO SYNTHETIC OIL AND A K&N FILTER.

Kill the caps man. The F22 ECU is not even remotely the same as a P13, You friend the Mechanic obviously doesn't know much about Hondas, that's a given. He probably also did not run the wires for the swap either I imagine. Your sensor might just be bad.... Have you ever thought of that?
