Default ZC high rev start

I finally got my ZC started and now everytime I start it it revs up to 4000 rpm before settling down 1500, I'm not sure why? Also I plugged in my pm7 to see if that would help and I get a code 11.

----->It doesn't idle at 4000 rpms it revs to 4000 than drops to 1500 and then runs at a normal 750 rpm rev when warm. On warm starts, I start it and it jumps to 4000 rpms for a second then it drops to a normal 750 rpm. So basically it runs normal except for the damn startup.

check your cam timing, and code 11 means you got a shitty EDM ecu, that uses a CO pot sensor instead of an o2 sensor...

to see if you set cam timing wrong...you cant fix the ecu, you have to use a different one...

I originally thought it was my EACV and now I'm leaning more towards possibly having plugged the wrong harness into the plug. I replaced the EACV with the one from my Si engine and got rid if the idle surge but I still have the initial start, 4000 rpm rev.

did you check your timing like i said? cause that happened to me, the intake cam was off a tooth and it would idle at like 1500-2000...

i was just reading this on http://www.thezcr.com ...its the EACV they were saying. You have to take it off then adjust the idle screw then...well here is the link

and if that isn't it here is the other

It doesn't idle it revs to 4000 than drops to 1500 and then runs at normal rev (750)when warm.

I already replaced the EACV and got rid of one problem but still have the startup problem. Thanks anyway.
